Just for the record, crack smoking doesn't a bad mayor make. Marion Barry wasn't a good mayor, but it was for reasons unrelated to smoking crack. He just "happened to smoke crack" while being a bad mayor. Maybe it was a distraction that led to him being a bad mayor. But that in and of itself doesn't disqualify him. If he did the same things while being as sober as a heart attack, he still would've been a bad mayor. Just wanted to note this for the folks that do coke and then say, "how could they elect somebody like that?".
